Q: HOW CAN I RENT A VEHICLE?
A:

Renting a car is quick and easy. Just enter your desired pickup location and reservation period, add your preferences, and review all available models. Then select your chosen model and confirm. You will be shown the details of the selected vehicle and the contact details of the Dealer where it is located. Please note that the image may differ from the actual vehicle rented in terms of color, engine and optional features.

Q: WHERE CAN I FIND A JAGUAR LAND ROVER RENTAL PARTNER NEAR ME?
A:

By following the search item under "Choose a Dealer/Location," you will be shown all Dealers participating in the Jaguar Land Rover Rent program sorted by distance from your desired location.

Q: WHEN CAN I PICK UP AND RETURN THE VEHICLE?
A:

You may pickup and return the rental vehicle only within the Dealer's hours of operation. If the vehicle is not returned at the agreed place and time, the Dealer has the right to charge an additional fee to the applicable standard rate.

Q: HOW CAN I CHANGE A BOOKING?
A:

Changes to the reservation will be made through the selected Dealer. You will find their contact information in the e-mail confirming your reservation or in the OUR NETWORK section, in the header of this website.

Q: HOW CAN I CANCEL A BOOKING?
A:

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the rental period. To cancel, call the Dealer and cancel by phone confirming the cancellation by email. If you do not pickup the vehicle within 60 minutes of the agreed upon time, the reservation will no longer be binding. If a deposit is required at the time of booking, refer to the provisions of Article 5.2 of the Jaguar Land Rover Rent Terms and Conditions.

Q: WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM RENTAL PERIOD OF A VEHICLE IN THE JAGUAR LAND ROVER RENT PROGRAM?
A:

Rental period goes from 1 to 30 days, booking through a simple request from our website. In agreement with the Dealer, it is then possible to opt for a multi-monthly formula, through 30-day renewals, up to a maximum of 12 monthly payments. 

Q: WHERE CAN I FIND THE RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS?
A:

Terms and Conditions are available in the footer of our website and at the acknowledgement stage when requesting a reservation.

Q: WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED FOR THE VEHICLE RENTAL?
A:

The following documents must be presented at the time of vehicle pickup:

  • a nationally valid driver's license for the respective class of vehicle
  • a valid ID card or passport
  • a valid credit card

If you are unable to present the required documents at the time of vehicle pickup, the Dealer/Lessor may terminate the contract and you will not be able to make claims for default.

Q: WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
A:

A valid credit card is required to rent a vehicle under Jaguar Land Rover Rent program. Unless otherwise agreed with the Dealer, the credit card will be used to:

  • freeze the amount of the security deposit
  • pay the total amount resulting from the individual expense items specified in the rental agreement
  • pay subsequent charges due to contractual changes in the rental (e.g., extra days or miles), any refueling cost at the time of return, any damage and excess/penalty charge including any towing and transportation cost of the vehicle, administrative costs incurred by the Dealer, and generally all costs to be attributed to your liability while you were driving the rented vehicle.
Q: CAN I HAVE ANOTHER DRIVER ENTERED IN THE RENTAL AGREEMENT?
A:

It is possible to add a second driver by paying an extra amount provided that the additional driver has a valid driver's license and meets the minimum age requirements set in the Jaguar Land Rover Terms and Conditions.

Q: DO THE RENTAL PRICES INCLUDE FULLY COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE?
A:

The rental fees include a limitation of liability for damages (including fire and theft claims) to the Vehicle. This is not an insurance coverage but a conventional reduction of the Customer's economic liability in case of damages to the vehicle within the limits of a maximum amount ("EXCESS") for which the liability of the Customer remains firm. By paying an additional fee (COVER PLUS), if provided by the Dealer, you may also halve the value of the EXCESS charged to you.  To know the value of the excesses, please refer to Jaguar Land Rover Rent Terms and Conditions.

Q: DO THE RENTAL FEES INCLUDE LIABILITY INSURANCE?
A:

The rental fees include Third Part Liability coverage. In the event of Customer’s fault (even partial), for each registered claim, it is the Lessor's right to charge a penalty according to the maximum amounts set in the Jaguar Land Rover Rent  Terms and Conditions.

 

Q: DO I HAVE TO PAY TOLLS MYSELF?
A:

As a lessee you will incur all costs related to road tolls and will be required to pay for all access to traffic, and/or parking fee areas.

Q: MAY I SMOKE IN THE VEHICLES?
A:

No, smoking in rental vehicles is not allowed out of respect for future users.

Q: ARE PETS ALSO ALLOWED ON BOARD?
A:

Before renting, check with the Dealer for the possibility of transporting your pets.

Q: WHO IS LIABLE FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD?
A:

As a lessee, you are responsible for the consequences of any traffic violations or criminal offenses found in connection with the rental vehicle use. You are also liable to the Dealer for all costs and damages incurred by him/her as a result of official action and the defence against these. The Dealer is expressly authorized to provide information about the rental and the driver/lessee to the appropriate authorities.

Q: ARE THERE ANY PROCESSING FEES FOR FINES?
A:

The Dealer participating in the Jaguar Land Rover Rent program may charge a fee for handling penalties for traffic violations.
